AFLAC. Swim with friends

Every year, nearly 12,000 kids in the U.S. are diagnosed with cancer.  So Aflac rallied the duck’s loyal fans and launched Swim With Friends. For every $12 donation to the Aflac Cancer Center, Aflac made a matching donation and sent the donor a commemorative Aflac rubber duck. Donors were also entered in a virtual online duck race for a chance to win a trip for four to Orlando, Florida. Promoted in print (WSJ & USA Today) and online (Aflac.com & Facebook) Swim With Friends generated more than $300,000 in a matter a of days and another $500,000 by the promotion’s conclusion. Creative: George O’Connor, Dylcia Barnhart
